Laser cutting machines are precision equipment where prolonged operation may cause aging and affect service life. Aore Laser reminds all users to prioritize regular maintenance - proper scientific care not only extends equipment lifespan and reduces costs, but also creates greater value and benefits.
1.Frequency of Water Tank Cleaning and Water Replacement
Frequency for Cleaning and Water Replacement in Laser Cutting Machine Water Tank
It is recommended to clean the water tank and replace the circulating water once a week.
Before operating the machine, ensure the laser tube is fully filled with circulating water.
Water Quality & Temperature Requirements:
*Use purified water (recommended by Aore Laser)
*Keep water temperature below 35°C
*If temperature exceeds 35°C, replace the water or add ice to cool it down
*For better cooling, consider using a chiller or dual water tanks
Cleaning Procedure:
*Turn off the power and disconnect the inlet hose to allow water in the laser tube to drain back into the tank.
*Open the tank, remove the water pump, and clean off any deposits.
*Thoroughly clean the tank and refill with fresh water.
*Reinstall the pump, reconnect the hose, and secure all fittings.
*Power the pump separately and run it for 2-3 minutes to ensure the laser tube is fully filled with water.
2. Fan Cleaning
Frequent use of the laser cutting machine’sfan can lead to the accumulation of solid dust inside, causing excessive noise and reduced exhaust efficiency. Aore Laser recommends the following steps when suction weakens or smoke extraction becomes poor:
*Turn off the power and disconnect the fan’s inlet and outlet ducts.
*Remove accumulated dust from the fan housing.
*Turn the fan upside down and manually rotate the blades to dislodge remaining debris.
*Reassemble the fan and ensure all connections are secure.
3. Lens Cleaning
To ensure optimal performance, clean the laser cutting machine's lenses daily before operation. Always verify that the machine is powered off before cleaning.
Lens Locations & Cleaning Method
The system contains:
*3 Reflective Mirrors
Mirror 1: Located at the laser tube output (upper-left corner of the machine)
Mirror 2: Mounted on the left end of the crossbeam
Mirror 3: Positioned atop the laser head assembly
1 Focusing Lens: Housed in the adjustable lens tube at the laser head's base
1.For Mirrors 1 & 2:
*Clean without removal using lens paper moistened with optical cleaning solution.
*Wipe gently in a spiral motion from center to edge.
2.For Mirror 3 & Focusing Lens:
*Carefully remove from mounts and clean using the same technique.
*Reinstall after cleaning, ensuring proper alignment.
Critical Precautions
1. Avoid coating damage – Apply minimal pressure when wiping
2. Prevent drops – Handle lenses over a soft surface
3. Focusing lens orientation – Always install with concave side downward
(Note: Contaminated lenses increase laser energy loss and may cause irreversible damage.)
Maintenance Tips:
✔ Use solvent-free optical cleaners
✔ Store lenses in dust-free containers when removed
✔ Inspect for scratches under indirect light
